Descriptions: This research is partly supported by Hyundai Motors, and mostly supported by Department Research Funds. We are studying the multisensory cues for the driver to perceive how they are driving. This research intends to help the design of the autonomous car, in particular, what information would be better given to the driver who would receive from the driving environment other than what they have been expected. Several brain stimulation and multisensory recording techniques are being employed, a new VR experimental setting has been up for the futher study.

A total research grant is 100,000USD/yr and one master student from Arts & Technology is involved in this project. Please contact me (hryu@hanyang.ac.kr) if interested.
